Sugarwish took shape around a practical correction to conventional gifting: preserve the gesture and return the choice. Founded in 2012 by Leslie Lyon and Elisabeth Vezzani, Sugarwish put recipient-choice ahead of sender guesswork. Candy came first; 15+ gift categories followed.
From that beginning, the operating reach became significantly larger. Today Sugarwish reports more than 2 million gifts across its history and more than 50,000 companies in its customer base, including 70% of the Fortune 500.
